Do you ever feel like your influence as a single mom is overshadowed by societal expectations? The Single Moms United podcast invites you to redefine those norms. This episode shines a spotlight on the unique and powerful role single mothers play in their children's lives through body language and verbal interactions. I challenge the age-old idea that strong influence is reserved for two-parent households. Instead, I empower you to embrace your position as the primary guide in your child’s life. Through a heartfelt poem and engaging discussion, I emphasize the importance of nurturing your influencing skills to boost your child's confidence and success.

Join me for an uplifting exploration that reminds you all that your past does not dictate your future, and it's never too late to elevate your mental game. As we navigate the journey of single parenthood together, I underscore the silent lessons taught through your actions and demeanor. My hope is that your influence is a positive force 99 percent of the time, nurturing growth and energy in your child. Don't miss this opportunity for inspiration and encouragement, and be sure to share the message with fellow single mom.

Speaker 1:

Hey, ladies, welcome to the Single Moms United podcast, where we cannot spell united without the letter U or Y-O-U. Hey, if this is your first time listening, welcome, and if you are a repeat listener, thank you. Thank you, thank you for your loyalty. Hey, I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend and so we are getting back on track. I've been extracting words from the letter I, featuring the word influence right. Featuring the word influence right.

Speaker 1:

Did you know that you have a significant influence on your child through body language, through your verbal interactions with them? You're a strong influencer, mom, but I did write a poem. This episode will be brief and to the point. I hear you clapping Cut it out. No, it's okay, it's okay. I know I'm not the best sounding person in the world, but hopefully you are taking this opportunity listening to the content of this podcast and hopefully you find value. And if you do tell another single mom, okay, all right. So, single mom, don't just be a doer, but be a positive influencer.

Speaker 1:

Now we have been told a strong influencer comes from a two-parent household, but that's not 100% true. Take a look around at other single moms. Just like you, single mom, you should be your child's only influencer when it comes to their future. Don't worry, your pal, because if you're not careful it could breed self-doubt. I encourage you to be strong, be brave. This is all about how you are pursuing your child's success.

Speaker 1:

Single mom, practicing your influencing skills should be the daily norm. This is how your child will conform. Yes, it is correct. Time will tell how much of your influence will prevail. Remember your past does not define your future. Be bold, be proud. It's your influencing skills your child will see, that will shine in a crowd. I know sometimes you feel hurt and shame, but remember this is a new chapter, so it's never too late to up your mental game. It's time to show your child and others your influencing power, to remind you you are no coward. We waste so much time thinking single parenting is such a difficult climb. It's your influence that carries the most weight and for this reason you should never, ever underestimate or negotiate. Should never, ever underestimate or negotiate. Your positive influencing skills are the key to your child's renewed energy. No-transcript. Incorporating your influencing skills are to help your purpose, so you can stay focused. Ladies, I hope you enjoyed that poem around influencing skills.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes I think, as single moms, we don't think we have that much power or that much impact on our children and their lives power or that much impact on our children and their lives, but you do, because they are watching. Even when you are not verbally sharing with them some information, they're watching. They're still learning. You're still influencing them. So my prayer is that the influence that you're providing or sharing with them or that they're seeing is positive and I know it can't always be positive, but I'm praying 99 percent of the time. The things they are seeing around, your influence is positive. Hey, I hope you have a great week, a great day, a great month. Come back real soon and then tell another single mom Also.
